Sonic Rush somehow managed to feel like a full blown console Sonic game, paired down for the dual screens of the Nintendo DS. It’s the most uneven of the mainline Sonic games, but we still feel it deserves a spot on this list. It totally nails that sensation of being the fastest thing alive as you tear through levels leaving a trail of absolute destruction full of crushed boxes, tables, enemies, and more. It also remains one of the best-looking Sonic games despite being 14 years old, plus the soundtrack is fantastic, and above all else, Sonic Unleashed feels fast.

A lot of the criticism is warranted, but it also shouldn’t entirely take away from the fact that when Sonic Unleashed is good, it’s some of the best 3D Sonic there’s ever been.

And Knuckles' moves would be hold A in midair is Glide, Left Stick after gliding into a wall is Climb, X up to three times is Punch Combo, X in midair is Dive Attack, and X while holding on to a diggable wall is Dig (Dig is automatically activated if the Dive Attack lands on a diggable surface).Sonic Unleashed gets a bad rap, and conversation surrounding it often focuses on its weaker elements, specifically the werehog bits. Tails' moves would be hold A in midair is Fly, X is Tail Swipe, and X in midair is Dummy Ring Blitz. Sonic's moves would be A in midair is Air Dash, A in midair while locked on to something is Homing Attack, X while running is Spin Attack, X in midair is Drop Dash, B in midair in Bound Jump, Y near a trail of rings is Light Speed Dash, LB or RB while running is Quick-Step, and LT and move Left Stick left, or RT and move Left Stick right while running is Drift. If we were to create our own BIG 3d Sonic fan game, the shared controls (On the Xbox Controllers) for Sonic, Tails, and Knuckles would be Left Stick is Move, A is Spin Jump, B is Spin Dash, B while grinding is Crouch (grinding), and LB or RB while grinding is Grind Step.
